Honoring Our Fallen Heroes

Please join us in celebrating the lives of deceased veterans, policemen, firefighters and first responders with a unique last tribute.

Flight of the Flags was started several years ago to do two things. We want to remember those heroes who have passed and display to the public the last honor our government bestows upon those who have served with distinction.

We invite the public to bring the folded funeral flags of their loved ones and we place them on WWII era aircraft and fly them over veteran themed events and monuments. The Honor Guard demonstrates the formal folding of a flag and also provides a three round volley and the playing of Taps as the planes flies overhead. The flags are then returned to the families after landing.

Flight of the Flags Inc is a non-profit 501c3 organization that would appreciate your help in continuing this worthwhile endeavor. Do you know of any WWII aviation wings in your area that we could fold into our program? Also, is it possible to donate to keep wind under our wings?

Honoring Our Fallen Veterans, Policemen, Firemen and First Responders

The Flight of the Flags organization hopes to accomplish two goals: to honor those who have served our country with a last ceremony and to demonstrate to the public the gratitude our government displays by providing a military funeral.

At certain veteran themed events, we invite the public to bring the folded funeral flags of their loved ones. We then respectfully place them on WWII era aircraft and fly them overhead. An Honor Guard gives a three round volley and plays Taps as the flags pass over. After landing, the flags are returned to the families.

Flight of the Flags

We provide dignified ceremonies to honor the final resting place of our fallen heroes.

Flight Of The Flags

We ensure a respectful ceremony with flags, rifle volleys, and taps for our veterans.

A ceremonial guard in a uniform stands on a paved area surrounded by numerous people who appear to be observing an event. Many of the observers are older individuals, some in wheelchairs, suggesting a possible veterans' gathering. The background is dominated by lush green trees, creating a serene atmosphere. A wreath stands to the left of the guard, adding a ceremonial or memorial aspect to the scene.
